Applied energy research for sustainable development
IZES works on implementation-oriented research projects with the goal of climate protection. On the one hand, these are questions in the environment of energy legislation and the energy industry, in order to help renewable energy sources and energy efficiency to further market penetration. On the other hand, technical tasks, e.g. new types of decentralized CHP plants, innovative building temperature control and, in the solar sector, solar thermal plants and photovoltaic system issues are being worked on.
The networking of regenerative energy plants through central control technology is also part of our work spectrum. In the biomass sector, strategic approaches are developed to achieve sustainable material flow cycles.
