Declaration on accessibility

The ForschungsVerbund Erneuerbare Energien (‘we’) endeavours to make the website www.fvee.de barrier-free. Our commitment is based on the Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0), which implements EU Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and is based on the harmonised standard EN 301 549 (WCAG 2.1 AA).

1. status of compatibility

  • Our website fulfils many requirements according to BITV 2.0 (based on WCAG 2.1 AA), but is not completely barrier-free.
  • The last review was carried out by an internal self-assessment on 01 July 2025.

2. non-accessible content

The following contents are currently not fully accessible:

  • Images, graphics and other elements without continuous alternative texts
  • Partially incomplete keyboard navigation for interactive elements
  • Headings not always meaningful
  • Videos without subtitles or audio description
  • PDF documents that do not contain structural tags (e.g. for headings, lists or tables) – they therefore do not comply with the PDF/UA standard for accessible PDF documents
